The game against a newly promoted Granada, which showed their weapons from the beginning. Getafe, in the first of the two friendlies they will have this week, once again demonstrated a competitive style that is a characteristic sign of this team. From the first minutes, a great equality in the game could be appreciated. All under a suffocating heat that forced the hydration break before the half hour of the match. Choco' Lozano had a great header on goal, but the linesman raised the flag for offside. The few chances on either side were not enough to break the 0-0.

Then David Soria easily saved was the last chance of the first half. On returning from the locker room, the game went into high gear. Shortly after the restart, the referee pointed to the eleven meters for a touch inside the area. Uzuni did not spare and put the 0-1 on the scoreboard. It was a cold water pitcher for Getafe, who had practically annulled Granada in the first act.

The carousel of changes on both benches added another gear if possible. Fresh legs to turn the score around, with Santi and Portu on the wings and the pair formed by Latasa and Mata in attack. But what came was the 0-2 that meant the sentence, the work of Diedhiou. Djene tried in the clearest attempt to close the gap, finally it was Jaime Mata who made it 1-2.
