LaLiga 2023/24 is taking shape. Getafe already knows its rivals next season. Deportivo Alavés was promoted in the final play-off for promotion and returns to the top flight a year later. A campaign that will once again have many attractions for us. The first one is obvious, again the derbies against Real Madrid, Atlético de Madrid and Rayo Vallecano. This is already three consecutive years with four teams from the Community in LaLiga.
Perhaps the most outstanding is the return to Montjuic 14 years later, in this case to face Fútbol Club Barcelona. Barça will play at the Olympic stadium due to the refurbishment works at the Camp Nou. It has also been a while, although not so long, since the last visit to Unión Deportiva Las Palmas. The canarian team are returning to the First Division after five years in the second category. Awaiting us is the Estadio de Gran Canaria, where we currently won 0-1 in May 2018.
Andalusia will be the region of Spain that we will visit most often: Sevilla, Real Betis, Cádiz, Almería and Granada. On three occasions we will play in the Basque Country: Athletic Club, Real Sociedad and Alavés. We will also play against Valencia, Villarreal, Real Mallorca, Girona, Celta de Vigo and Osasuna. The La Liga calendar will be known on June 22. The starting date is August 11, ending on June 2.
